Summer Days

The kids and I spent most of this record breaking hottest summer indoors or outside in the water somewhere. They are growing like weeds and having so much fun. A is in second grade this year and B started full time preschool. They are both loving their teachers and friends. I've started working part time and continue to help out at A's school the best I can. A decided to take a break from soccer and swimming this year so we have added Hula and Girl Scouts in there place. We took a wonderful family vacation to Oahu in June. There were so many things for us to see and do and we certainly did as much as we could. Having not seen many of my aunties and uncles in over 20 years, I had much to catch up on. Brad and I continue to have a house project underway. We added a built in grill area out back in the summer and are putting the finishing touches on our renovated office area. Once that is finished we're moving on to the dining room. I'll need a break after this so we might not get into anything until after the holidays.
